A unique 3-day experience on Mount Olympus

Mount Olympus, the mountain of the gods, invites us on a three-day journey where nature, myth, and challenge come together.
From the dense forests of Gortsia to the rocky summit of Mytikas, we will cross ever-changing landscapes, spend nights in mountain refuges, and stand atop the highest peak of Greece.

This adventure is designed as an exclusive group of 10 participants, guided and cared for by 4 experienced Mountain Leaders, ensuring safety and meaningful experiences every step of the way.

Detailed Schedule

Day 1 – Friday, 19/9
Departure from Athens at 06:30.
Arrival at Litochoro around 12:00 and transfer to Gortsia (1,100 m), our starting point.
Hike 4–5 hours (9 km, +900 m) through lush forests and alpine clearings to reach Petrostrouga Refuge (1,940 m).
Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 – Saturday, 20/9
The big summit day!
Early departure towards the Plateau of the Muses (2,700 m), crossing Skourta, Laimos, and Zonaria.
Short break, then ascent to Mytikas (2,918 m) via the classic route (weather permitting).
Return to the Plateau and descent to Spilios Agapitos Refuge (2,100 m) for dinner and overnight stay.
Total: 12 km, +1,000 m, –800 m, 7–8 hours.

Day 3 – Sunday, 21/9
Gentle descent through the enchanting forest of Enipeas down to Prionia (1,100 m).
6 km, –1,000 m, about 3 hours.
Lunch at a traditional tavern and return to Athens (~22:00).
